The fischer KDS tilt plug with VdS and FM approval is a fastening element for trapezoidal sheet metal roofs and provides a secure and objectively tested solution for fixing pipelines in stationary sprinkler systems. Other components such as mounting rails, ventilation ducts, power lines, and lighting systems can also be quickly attached to trapezoidal sheets due to the simple handling. The height-adjustable threaded rod, secured against accidental unscrewing, allows for the practical alignment of the components to be mounted on the trapezoidal sheet. The selection of different lengths helps with the selection of the appropriate KDS tilt plug for the respective application.
Features- Material: Steel, galvanized, passivated
- Seal material: Polyolefin elastomer TPE-O
- Galvanizing: galvanized, min. 5 µm according to DIN EN ISO 4042
Applications- The completely pre-assembled KDS tilt plug is used as a fastening element on trapezoidal sheet metal roofs
- Suitable e.g. for the fastening of pipelines, mounting rails, ventilation ducts, power lines, and lighting systems
- Fixing sprinkler pipes to trapezoidal sheet metal: from ¾ to 1 ½" inches according to FM, max DN 50 (2") according to VdS
- The permissible tensile load per fixing point for sprinkler pipes on trapezoidal sheets is 0.8 kN, for other fixings 1.0 kN
